Preserve forever.
Permastack is a Markdown publishing platform with two layers — an ordinary, editable draft, and an archival layer that presses an article's exact bytes onto the blockchain, sealed against revision.
“Permanence should be a deliberate act, never an accident.”
A new standard for digital literature. The ephemerality of the web is a feature for drafts, but a bug for the finished word. We have engineered a solution.
Two Layers, One Library
I. The Working Layer
Draft, edit, and change your mind. An ordinary database — fast, mutable, forgiving. Nothing is permanent, and that is exactly the point. The writing process requires a sandbox where mistakes can be undone and ideas can evolve without the burden of eternity.
II. The Archival Layer
When a piece is ready to last, inscribe it. Its exact UTF-8 bytes are written on-chain as a 1-sat ordinal — not a link, not a screenshot, but the literal content, sealed against revision. The blockchain acts as a global, immutable printing press. Once inscribed, the words belong to history.
How it works
01 Draft
Write in Markdown with live preview and debounced auto-save.
02 Publish
Share a clean public reading page at your own slug.
03 Inscribe
Opt in, per article, to seal the exact bytes on-chain with your BRC-100 wallet.
04 Verify
Any reader recomputes the SHA-256 in their browser and confirms not a single character has drifted.
